The hybrid has a high dwarf, lodging resistance and fruit setting rate. It has increased production by 20% to 30% in the buckwheat planting area in northern Shaanxi compared with local control varieties.

At the appraisal meeting for scientific and technological achievements, experts believed that the self-incompatibility and two-line method of buckwheat achieved the superior utilization of buckwheat hybrids, which was a breakthrough in the research and production of buckwheat.
