Coal-fired boiler full of water accident

1. The phenomenon that the steam boiler is full of water

(1) The water level is higher than the highest permissible line, or the water level is not visible, and the color in the glass tube (plate) of the water level gauge is dark. (2) The two-color water level gauge indicates the color of all water phases. (3) High and low water level alarms generate high water level warning signals. (4) The temperature of the superheated steam drops significantly. (5) The feed water flow rate is abnormally larger than the steam flow rate. (6) A large amount of water is stored in the cylinder, and the steam trap is vigorously operated. (7) In severe cases, the steam is heavily watered, the salt content increases, the water hammer sounds in the steam pipe, and the steam is dripping from the joint flange.

2. Treatment of coal-fired boilers full of water

Flush the water level gauge to determine if it is slightly full or severely filled. Method: first close the water level gauge, water the pipe cock, and then open the water discharge cock. If you can see the water level line descends from the top, it indicates that it is slightly full of water, stop the water supply, open the drain valve, and put it to the normal water level.

If it is severely filled with water, take emergency shutdown measures.
