How to choose the right mold temperature machine and thermostat for injection molding machine and extruder?

Calculation method for mold temperature control machine (constant temperature machine, mold temperature machine)

1. Special circumstances need to be calculated:

A. Find heater power or refrigeration power KW=W×△t×C×S/860×T

W = mold weight or cooling water KG

t = temperature difference between the desired temperature and the starting temperature.

C = specific hot oil (0.5), steel (0.11), water (1), plastic (0.45~0.55)

B, the size of the pump

Need to know the pump flow and pressure required by the customer (head)

P (pressure Kg/cm2) = 0.1 × H (head M) × α (heat transfer media specific gravity, water = 1, oil = 0.7-0.9)

L (media required flow rate L / min) = Q (heat required for mold Kcal / H) / C (media ratio hot water = oil = 0.45) × t (temperature difference between the circulating medium and the mold) × α × 60

2. Freezer capacity selection

A, Q (freezing amount Kcal / H) = Q1 + Q2

Q1 (heat amount Kcal/H of raw material brought into the mold) = W (weight KG of raw material injected into the mold per hour) × C × (T1-T2) × S (safety factor 1.5 to 2)

T1 temperature of the raw material in the material pipe; T2 temperature of the finished product when the mold is taken out

Q2 Heat generated by hot runner Kcal/H

B, speed algorithm (with hot runner not applicable)

1RT=7~8 OZ 1OZ=28.3g (including safety factor)

1RT=3024Kcal/H=12000BTU/H=3.751KW

1KW=860 Kcal/H 1 Kcal=3.97BTU

3. Cooling tower selection = A+B

A, injection molding machine

Cooling tower RT=injector horsepower (HP)×0.75KW×860Kcal×0.4÷3024

B, for freezer

Cooling tower RT = freezer cold tons (HP) × 1.25
