The "ten major consumer spending rules" announced by the Chongqing Consumer Council are: the catering industry set a minimum consumption of private rooms, received wine bottle opening fees, tableware disinfection fees; "scarce" car prices or tying interior sales; broadband Internet access Must be on the net two years to be canceled; Cinemas prohibit the use of food and beverage; the price of non-insured goods, courier company only up to 300 yuan; tour guide collusion merchants induce tourist spending; children's photography sells high-priced film; consumer prepaid card balance is not refundable, activation must be Recharging; online group purchase exaggerated propaganda, virtual standard original price, invoices difficult to open; taxi outside the main city does not play meter charging.

It is understood that from January 13 to March 13 this year, the Chongqing Consumer Council launched the "Report the unspoken rules around you" campaign, opened a special website and microblogging to collect the "unspoken rules" of consumer spending. In 2 months, the number of special website websites reached 9.26 million, and the number of microblog relays reached 570,000. A total of more than 1,200 unspoken rules were recommended. Chongqing’s Consumer Council selected the top 50 online polls from the more than a thousand “hidden rules” solicited, and this election resulted in the “ten major consumer spending rules”.

Liu Mingsheng, secretary-general of the Chongqing Municipal Committee on Consumer Rights Protection, stated that the "hidden rules" that cracked the catering industry, such as bottle opening fees, tea room fees, and minimum consumption, have been listed as priorities for rights protection this year.
