Lin Guoya said that the Honghu Qingshui Crab that was shipped to Beijing and other places was delivered from the origin of Honghu Lake without passing through any transit or stay. "This requires a strong logistics support." Lin Guoya frankly said that this model is more risky, "a few days ago there was a truck, some losses, more than 30 million, but only in this way, we can guarantee that everyone eats It is a crab of Hong Lake origin."

Our province's crab production accounts for 20% of the country's total data. Last year, the area of ​​river crab farming in our province was 2.88 million mu, the annual output was 80,000 tons, and the output value was 4 billion yuan. The output was second only to Jiangsu and Anhui, accounting for nearly 20% of the country's total production. According to the plan, in the next three to five years, our province wants to make the crab a second-billion-dollar aquaculture industry following crayfish.

As the “water resource” city, Honghu last year produced a total of 1.16 million mu of aquaculture, of which 460,000 mu were for crabs, and crab production accounted for one-third of the province’s total production. Only Sihong Group's annual trading volume in Honghu's two major markets reached 370,000 tons, with a total turnover of 4 billion yuan.

This crab festival is undoubtedly one of the many means for this famous water-oriented city to target the “water economy”. However, at present, the river crab in the province is about to put on a unified “Liangzi Lake” brand.

Industry insiders believe that similar to Liangzi Lake and Yangcheng Lake, the brand is developed through the form of crab festival. “This time the host is the Fujian boss who opened the Fujian market and played a leading role. After the owner of the local chamber of commerce sees it, it is very likely that they will learn to copy and we will unite to make a big market.”
