2. Take the drop barrel from the instrument and install the funnel;
3. Install 4 No. 5 dry batteries according to the polarity of the battery cover mark;
4. The instrument is placed on a horizontal surface without wind and vibration;
5. Prepare the sample to be tested and achieve a sufficient temperature balance with the instrument.
6. For the convenience of users, the company has already set the representative varieties (see the attached table for the corresponding variety code). When using the product, you can directly select the variety code to measure.
Third, moisture measurement
1. Press the power switch, the instrument displays the product number after self-test;
2. Press the "+" or "-" button to select the measurement variety code (check the attached table);
3. Put the sample to be tested into the drop barrel, and sample the amount so that the bottom edge of the funnel is appropriate.
4. Place the drop tube on the instrument sensor, hold the drop tube with your left hand, and press the blanking switch with your right hand to make the sample all fall into the measuring sensor evenly. The instrument can display the moisture value after flashing several times at the decimal point.
Moisture Analyzer Because the instrument uses a new technology, you don't need to press the “Measure” button before each measurement. After dropping the sample, the drop barrel does not have to be removed.
Display sample weight/temperature After measuring the moisture display, press the “Measure” button to display the sample weight. Press the “Variety” button again to display the sample temperature, and then press the “Measure” button to return to the moisture display.
Error correction and calibration error correction Due to regional and variety differences, errors may occur when directly measuring the local sample with the instrument's pre-calibrated gear. For example, the measured moisture is 13.6%, and the actual moisture to be displayed is 14.0% (general If the error is judged by the standard oven method of 105 °C, the correction value of the variety should be increased by 0.4, and the moisture value can be corrected as follows:
Pour out the sample in the instrument, press and hold the “Variety” button, and then release it after waiting for the question (the original correction value is displayed as -0.1), press the “10” button to increase the correction value by 0.4 (for example, increase to 0.3). Then, press the “Measure” button to save, the instrument flashes to confirm the correction is completed, press the “Variety” button or shut down to exit the correction state.
Computer Moisture Analyzer Calibration If the measurement variety needs to be increased or the measurement error of individual varieties is too large, the user can self-calibrate the instrument according to the following method. Proceed as follows:
1. Select the blank code on the schedule or the variety code to be covered;
2. Prepare three standard samples of high, medium and low with 105 °C standard oven method (if the actual measurement moisture range does not exceed 6%, only two standard samples are required for high and low), in order to make the standard sample representative and Accuracy, the moisture of the standard sample must be selected within the actual moisture range, and the difference between the files is 3 to 6%. (eg wheat samples with moisture values ​​of 18%, 14%, and 10%, respectively);
3. Place the low moisture standard into the sensor as described in the “Moisture Measurement” section of this instruction manual. Waiting for the instrument to display the measurement results;
4. Change the measurement result (if displayed as 11%) to the standard value (such as 10%) with the “+” or “-” key, then press and hold the “Measure” button, and then release the display number after blinking. The calibration is completed;
Computer Moisture Analyzer Important Note: The above methods 1~4 can be used to correct the error of the instrument. The effect is the same as the “error correction” method.
5. Pour out the sample, do not turn off the machine or press the “Variety” button, then take the high moisture standard and put the sensor according to the method of “Moisture Measurement”;
6. Change the measurement result (if displayed as 17%) to the standard value (such as 18%) with the "+" or "-" key, then press and hold the "Measure" button, and wait for the display number to flash and release. Point calibration is complete. Repeated measurement of the standard sample, if the measurement error is not more than 0.5%, it means that the calibration is successful, otherwise it needs to be recalibrated.
7. If the difference between the high and low standards is large, or the error of the intermediate standard is greater than 0.5%, the third standard calibration can be performed with the intermediate moisture standard, and the third multi-calibration method and the lower limit ( Or high) the method of moisture standards.
V. Overview Restoring the factory calibration data When the user confirms that he or she does not need to adjust the calibration or the new calibration parameters, the following operations can be performed to restore the factory calibration data: press and hold the “Measure” button, then press the “-” button. Then release them together. At this point, the number of displays of the instrument will flash several times, indicating that the instrument has been restored to the factory calibration data.
Correcting the electronic balance To ensure the accuracy of the measurement, the user should pay attention to the electronic balance built in the instrument. The specific operation method can be either one of the following:
1. Take out everything in the instrument's sensing, level the instrument, press and hold the “Variety” button to turn it on. After the instrument displays the number, press the “Measure” button once, the instrument will display “.0”, and then the 200 g balance will be displayed. After the weight is placed on the top of the instrument sensor, press the “Measure” button again, the instrument will display “200” or “199”, indicating that the balance has been corrected, and then turn it off after turning it off. Note: Be sure to use a 200 gram balance, otherwise the balance will not be calibrated.
2. Take out all the things in the instrument sensing, level the instrument, turn it on, wait for the instrument to display the item number, press and hold the “Measure” button, and let go when the instrument display number flashes, then press the “Measure” button again. The instrument will display “.0”, then place the 200 gram balance weight on top of the instrument sensor, then press the “Measure” button again. The instrument will display “200” or “199”, indicating that the balance has been corrected. Press "Variety" or turn it off and on. Note: Be sure to use a 200 gram balance, otherwise the balance will not be calibrated.
Status indication The instrument has a self-diagnostic function. When the instrument malfunctions and the operation method is wrong, an error message is displayed, as shown below:
Nothing is displayed when “UL” is displayed or the instrument is operating, indicating that the dry battery is exhausted, changing the battery or checking the power supply.
“Er1”, “Er2” and “Er4” are displayed, indicating that the instrument's moisture measurement circuit, temperature compensation circuit and weighing circuit are faulty and need to be repaired.
Only one decimal point is displayed, indicating that if the instrument uses dry electricity, it will automatically enter the power-saving state within 5 minutes, and press any key to return to the power-on state; if the instrument uses AC power, it will not appear. This power saving state, but automatically corrects the measurement system once every 5 minutes.
“Er3” is displayed, indicating that the difference between the three-point calibration intermediate moisture sample and the high and low moisture standards is less than 1%, and the three-point calibration should be canceled.
The “- - -” and the decimal point appear alternately, indicating that there is an object in the sensor when the machine is turned on, and the instrument will be turned on normally within a few seconds after the object is taken out.
